Game 4..

So it is currently about 10 minutes into Game 4 of the Bruins Canadians game... and it is me, the Hubby, sister, her man and Daddy here watching the game. We are on the edge of our seats, nervous and annoyed. It is 3-1. Not us. My Daddy is going to have less than no voice by 9pm if they continue at this rate, and I am not even sure I will stay here. My room at the inlaws alone, may be better than this misery soon. When I said before we were born with Bruins in our blood I was not kidding, he lives and dies by the Black and Gold.

On a happier note, Mom cooked dinner tonight, it was nice to just hang out here and eat dinner with the parents. I miss meals at the dinner table. I believe big that families should always have dinner together at the dinner table, weather a four course meal or a frozen pizza. It is family time, and the opportunity ti unwind from the days events and catch up, or even unravel your thoughts. I sure do miss those nights with my parents and sisters, and even more, I miss those with just me and the Hubby. Soon, I know we will get back to it soon.

Go Bruins..? Yeah... Go B's!!

Its a Beautiful Day for Bruins Playoff Hockey!

The weather sure is coming around. What a difference it makes on everyday, just getting out of bed isn't a struggle because you know the sun is outside waiting. Cannot wait for the warm summer nights, sitting on the wall down the beach eating an entire pizza (I would share it with the Hubby of course). I can tell nights like those are coming, I can feel it in my toes.

Bruins Playoff Hockey starts tonight! Game One at home, boy oh boy am I excited. Should be an interesting time here watching the game, it is always intense when we play the Canadians. Habs Fans suck, sorry but I have to say it. The Hubby suggested I blog about this craze we (my family) has with the Bruins, I said I don't know where I would begin or what I'd ramble on about - other than with my Dad. I could tell you a bit about how he may be borderline insane with how he is quite obsessed. How he screams at the television as if they can hear him, and when they do not listen he screams as if they just purposely ignored his direct order. I love that about him, I love that about me and my sisters, how we have been converted into these mini Bruins-crazies at birth and now are full-blown. I legit was born and slapped with Bruins paraphernalia. I don't know what I enjoy more, the game or that time with my Dad. Either way, I am looking forward to tonight, hanging with him and watching Game One! It is also pretty fantastic how my Hubby who claims to be Penguins fan first is now a die-hard B's fan. it is like I get both of the most important men in my life and something to tie us all together. Side note, my younger sister is a Boston Bruins Ice Girl - so that alone makes him so proud, and I am sure he feels like he did right raising his Bruins-crazy girls.

Isabelle's Birthday Weekend

Today was Isabelle's 4th Birthday!!
Wespent all weekend celebrating.

Friday we hung out with her little friends Aiden and Owen and had pizza for dinner. The weather was so fantastic. It is always refreshing to have a 50-something degree day around here early April, it is a sign that the warm weather is coming we just need to have some patience.

Saturday it was beautiful outside, the sun was beaming down when I woke
up, I just knew Spring was here! I went to Target and stocked up on bubbles, chalk and Isabelle's big birthday gift ((an awesome bike with all the accessories)).

Of course when I picked up the little Princess* she decided it was her royal napping time so the play time was put on hold...

upon waking she was hungry so she woofed down a cheeseburger from McDonalds. You know, fatty foods such as a cheeseburger are good for kiddos with CF because they need all the help gaining weigh they can get. She sure loves those cheeseburgers, but please no pickles!

We played with chalk and bubbles for hours... Chara even enjoyed the bubbles, chasing them like they were something he wanted badly.

Angelina arrived and it was now time to unveil her big birthday surprise!

it only took her about a minute to get the h
ang of it. Dad helped out and she was off. What an awesome time!

Sunday came and it was Birthday Time!! We headed over to her house for some cake and ice
cream.

I just love spending my days with this little girl. She adds so much joy to my life, I am so blessed to have such an amazing family and this beautiful little extended family.

..playing catch up..

So it has been about a year since I have turned on this blogging thing. A lot has gone down, I've moved, been laid off, gone back to school, discovered coupons and so much more.

Let's back up...

gee, I wish we had this button for life it could make things a heck of a lot easier.

June 2010 we moved in with his parents to save some money faster so we can get our own house. We are still working on that. I was also laid off, and decided hey, lets make an attempt a finishing that associates degree I began 7 years ago. So I did that all summer and fall. Enter 2011, still with his parents and still laid off. Not much has changed since then, job hunting is on hold due to my being a Grand Juror for this term, fun stuff not much more to say about it other than that.

The Great Strides Walk is coming up, and big props to everyone who has registered and working on their fundraising! I could not be happier about the support we are getting this year, and a lot of that going to Nicole for helping us out
on her super awesome blog ((not sure how to link it here but she is over at flipflopsandcombatboots.net go give her some love)). We have a pretty good team lined up and we are hoping for no rain this year!

Still fighting on making CF stand for Cure Found each day. I find ways to connect with the CF community pretty often, and spread the word to those who aren't aware of what CF is and its need for a cure. Isabelle is going to be 4 on Sunday! I cannot believe how fast she grows.

Married life is just that, married life. Working on day 481 today and loving every minute of it!

this is the most recent photo of the Hubby* and I. Isn't he adorable!

Oh and the Bruins just may find their way to the Stanley Cup this year -- told ya!

Stay tuned
